Double glazing in Berkeley Homes offer

Berkeley Homes could find their double glazing made more affordable through a new promotion from the developer.

Property on its Holborough Lakes site is all fitted with double glazing as standard, helping to raise energy efficiency.

Now an extension of the MyChoiceHomeBuy initiative has been announced to make ownership a little more affordable.

The developer explains that equity loans of up to 50 per cent of the asking price may be obtained for new homes.

After one year, all or some of this loan may be paid back to provide full ownership to the household.

Buyers on combined incomes of between £20,000 and £60,000 are told that they may be able to access the funds.

Operations director Piers Clanford comments: "Purchasers at the bottom of the ladder need all the financial help they can get."

He adds that MyChoiceHomeBuy allows a property to be bought with associated costs reaching little higher than around £4,500.ADNFCR-2156-ID-19051978-ADNFCR
