Summer 'is DIY time'
As the sun shines outside, summer could be a good time for making sure a house is ready for the winter by boosting its insulation with double glazing.
Indeed, Claire Barrett, editor at Grand Designs Magazine, said
that summer is DIY time.
She added that more people were "definitely" choosing to stay put at the moment as a result of the housing
crisis which was forcing more homeowners to consider "properly" creating a home.
"That bubble has burst and so people are
staying still, looking at what they've got and actually trying to create a really nice home environment to live in," Ms Barrett
stated.
She explained that this frame of mind meant the fewer Britons saw their property as a "cash cow".
Britons who wish
to get their homes ready for the winter may wish to pay a visit to Cheshire ( http://www.force8.co.uk/ )double glazing supplier Force 8.
Along with double glazing products, consumers can also choose composite doors - which can be better for insulation that timber doors - and roofline products.
Roofline can be an
advisable choice as the store asserts that it only needs minimum upkeep, such as a quick wipe with a damp cloth, to keep it looking almost
new.
