At the start of December, with three weeks to go, it could be composite doors
that really get the holidays off to a start.
This is due to the Merry Maids' suggestion that front doors and their fittings should be wiped down and spruced up.
Householders with composite doors could find this easier to achieve than many others due to the unique properties of the material.
Unlike
wood, composite materials are resistant to staining - meaning they can be brought back to their full glory with a simple wipe down with a damp
cloth.
Windows should also be polished to a gleam, the cleaning experts
recommend, while hanging festive wreaths from front doors can complete the welcoming
appearance.
