Stylishly dressing a PVC door can provide the key added touch to successfully sell a home, it
has been claimed.
Writing for the Times, Lucy Alexander explains that PVC doors are a
likely feature to see on any residential street.
She adds that aesthetically pleasing doors can provide an enticing first impression to
visitors to the property - which could lead them to buy.
Ms Alexander's commandments of making a good first impression include "thou
must attach chrome door furniture" and "thou must paint thy front door a smart
shade".
However, with composite doors, it is possible to put in place a
low-maintenance solution in a pleasing colour that can be maintained over time.
Composite
doors are available in a variety of different colours and, while they can have the appearance of wood, may be much easier to
maintain.
Bringing them back to their original vibrancy can be as simple as wiping them over with a damp cloth.
