Conservatories could provide food for thought to Britons hoping to add a new eating space to their home.

The Northern Echo reports that one hotel near Gainford in Teesdale is using one of the glass structures to do just that.

By fitting a conservatory to its existing building, Headlam Hall is planning to complement its current Spa Brasserie and main dining rooms.

And the use of conservatories is not new to the venue, as its new structure is replacing one which previously stood on the site.

To be called The Orangery, the new conservatory has been specially designed by a firm in Stockton.

From Stockton to Stockport, customers in the north-west could look to Force 8 to meet their wishes when designing new conservatories.

With its PVC-U conservatories, the supplier explains that peace of mind can be assured with the knowledge that a secure extension to the home has been created.
