A conservatory added to a property in Scotland has helped to open up idyllic views of the surrounding countryside.
The house, Nether Unthank,
which is located near Elgin, began life as a small cottage, but a series of extensions, including the addition of a double-glazed conservatory, have
helped to add space and create a unique home.
However, the original character of the home has been preserved, local paper the Press and
Journal notes.
The addition of windows on to all sides of the living room
helps to create a light and airy feel, it adds, noting that excellent views of the rolling countryside are on offer.
Some double French doors lead from the conservatory into the garden, which is roughly
four-fifths of an acre in size.
But homeowners need not have so much land to be able to enjoy the different views a conservatory can bring.
Those interested in adding a conservatory to their property may wish to consider comments made by editor of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine
Jason Orme, who recently noted that adding such an extension to a property can affect the way it living space is used.
