While Britons may enjoy the ability their conservatories give them to watch
the stars through their glass roofs on clear nights, one woman has admitted to seeing something much more unusual while relaxing in her
extension.
According to the East Herts Herald 24, Lesley Weir spotted a UFO through the roof of her conservatory last week.
While
some people may put her sighting down to mistaken identity, Ms Weir is quick to point out in her post on a UFO-watchers website that she spotted the
object on a night when there were no aircraft in the air, due to the volcanic ash cloud prompting a UK-wide no fly zone.
"On a night
with no aircraft flying, I witnessed a light in the sky through my conservatory roof coming from the north, I then went to the front of house and saw
the same light travelling south," she explained.
Ms Weir described the light as round and orange with a white centre, noiseless but
travelling at the speeds of a plane. She added that it did not appear to be a floating Chinese lantern, which she had seen before.
While many
Britons may not be lucky enough to spot a paranormal phenomenon from their conservatories, the extensions could be the perfect home improvement in the lead up to summer if people wish to enjoy plenty of
natural light and sun, even on rainy days.
