Homeowners looking for ways to boost the value of their property in order to make it more attractive to would-be buyers may wish to have new double glazingwindows
installed.
Recent research by Halifax Estate Agents revealed that eight per cent of survey respondents claimed that new windows or double glazing
was likely to attract potential buyers.
Furthermore, 60 per cent of respondents admitted that they classed double glazing as an essential feature.
And when it came to rooms that had
particular significance for people planning to move in, conservatories were
shown to be a draw to two per cent of individuals, which could mean this is a useful addition for people planning to sell their home to
make.
Indeed, this number rose to 52 per cent when respondents were asked what property feature they would deem to be non-essential but still
desirable.
A recent study by Nationwide revealed that green features - such as good insulation - were also likely to increasingly attract
potential buyers to property in the future.
