VEKA, a supplier to Stockport double glazing company Force 8, has stressed that there is no compromise when it comes to reinforcing its
frames.
The manufacturer of double glazing units has unveiled a new steel-reinforced frame that it says offers competitive strength over its
rivals.
Despite this, the frames are still able to meet the necessary standards to obtain a British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC)
energy efficiency label of A - the highest possible.
Sales and marketing director Colin Torley comments: "Fabricators of some systems
have tried to compromise on reinforcement to achieve the label.
"But this is not acceptable in many applications."
Graham
Hinett, chief executive officer of the BFRC, adds that energy efficiency ratings are already familiar on white goods such as washing
machines.
He predicts that more Britons are likely to look to similar labels when selecting their double glazing in the coming
months.
Customers of Stockport double glazing company Force 8 can rest assured that it uses suppliers who subscribe to the BFRC
scheme.
